Adams announces the passing of Mr. Justin Byrd, 22, who transitioned on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Adams announces funeral services for Mr. Justin Gerald Byrd, 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Savannah Baptist Temple located 1151 Mohawk St. Dr. H.M. Porter, Pastor.

Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 P.M.- 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the funeral home.

Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery.

Justin G Byrd was born on June 26, 1995 in Savannah, GA to Anthony D. Byrd and Lydia Williams.

Justin was born with a rare liver disease call Alagille and received his first liver transplant in 1998 at the age of 3 and later received his second transplant in March of 2017. Justin was a soft and gentle soul and always the life of the party rather it was with a dance or a joke. Justin had a passion for music, but painting was his first love. Justin even received a prize and monetary reward for one of his paintings. Justin attended schools in the Savannah Chatham County Public School System. Justin gave his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized on February 27, 2005 with his mother Lydia Williams and brother Anthony Byrd at Savannah Baptist Temple, where he is currently a member.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His father: Anthony D Byrd. Sr., His Mother: Lydia M. Williams, 3 Brothers:  Tyron D. Williams, Anthony D. Byrd Jr, and Arkeem J Byrd, His Grandmother: Louise Williams, Four Aunties: Shirley Byrd, Ruth Threatt, Vanessa Cook, Evelyn Edwards, and Charlotte West, 3 Uncles: Michael Williams, Charles West, and Emerson West, and a host of other devoted and loving family members and friends. Justin will be truly missed.
