Adams announces the passing of Mr. Joshua Marion Thomas, 22, who transitioned on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Joshua Marion Thomas was born on April 7, 1996 in Savannah, Georgia to the proud parents of Freddie Thomas, Sr. and Faith Ellis Thomas
Joshua attended the public schools in Savannah-Chatham County; graduated from Georgia National Guard in 2013. He received his spiritual teaching from Overcoming By Faith & Living Hope Community Fellowship Church, where he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
Joshua was preceded in death by his grandparents Johnnie Ellis, Sr., Jesse and
Annie Lois Thomas; uncles, Jessie Thomas, Jr., Melvin Thomas, and great auntie Cora Bell Taylor. Our beloved Joshua Marion Thomas ascended into God’s glory on Thursday, June 14, 2018.
We the following are grateful to God for blessing our lives with Joshua Marion: mother Faith K. Ellis; father, Freddie Thomas, Sr. (Layne); three sisters, Vallerie (Tony), Shonda Jackson, Layla Thomas; four brothers, Minister Antwain Jackson (Evangelist Ranesha), Freddie Thomas, Jr., Dylan Vickery & Luke Thomas; loving grandmother, Ann B. Ellis; grand-parents, Mr. Tony and Mrs. Phyllis McIver; wonderful aunts, Christine Cogswell, Yolanda Boggs, Dr. Charmell Ellis Parks (Albert); uncles, Johnnie Ellis, Jr. (Katrina) and Omar Shabazz; a harvest of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

Adams announces the Funeral Services for Mr. Joshua Marion Thomas, 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Jonesville Baptist Church of the P.A.W.

Interment: Catholic Cemetery.
