OBITUARY:
Jordan Alexander Fikes, born at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD, began his journey through life on September 19, 1992. He was the oldest child of Jennifer and Kevin Fikes. Jordan was hard-working, loving and compassionate. He was blessed with two sisters, Kassidy Elizabeth, Yazmine Olivia and a brother, Kholbe Elijah. Jordan was the first grandson and host to many cousins. On December 7, 2018, Jordan became a father to Jayden Amadeus.
Jordan’s early life included being a militaryArmy “brat” becoming a world traveler. He began his travels in 1995, moving with his family to Seattle, WA. They later traveled to Georgia (1997), Germany (1999), North Carolina (2002) and finally settled in Savannah, GA (2006).
Jordan was educated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School, Benedictine Military School and graduated from Herschel V. Jenkins in 2011. He served in the U.S. Air Force in 2013 and honorably discharged in 2016. Jordan was proud of his service as was his family. Upon leaving the Air Force, he chose to pursue an alternate career path. He began an apprenticeship at Brasseler, USA as a machine operator. He always spoke highly of his work and how much he loved working for the company as well as with his colleagues. He spoke often and looked forward to working on what he called “my machines.” At this point it was obvious that he had found his calling and wanted to continue this area of expertise to achieve great things.
Jordan was a very loving Father, Son, Grandson, Brother, Nephew, Cousin and Friend. He was kindhearted and respected. We thank the Lord for blessing us all for 26 years we had with our Jordan. We will miss his delightful candor and remember all the wonderful times.
Jordan, We Miss You and love you always and forever...
