Mr. Howard "Brother" Reid, Jr.

Adams announces the passing of Mr. Howard L. Reid, Jr., 72, who transitioned on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He leaves many memories behind for his large family to cherish, his wife Lucy Reid of Savannah, GA; his mother Annie Mae Reid of Savannah, GA; ten children: Jennifer Vazquez (José) of Virginia Beach, VA; Howard Reid III (Renee) of Savannah, GA; Gary Reid (Darlethia) of Atlanta, GA; Troy Reid; Jaliti Hubbard (Roosevelt); Waki Reid; Tarkis Reid (Marylin); Janitza Reid, Jaquana Reid and Janasya Reid, all of Savannah, GA;

One brother Bennie Reid (Hila) of Savannah, GA; two sisters Margaret Ford (Herbert) of Detroit, MI and Lavone Grant (Fred) of Baltimore, MD. 33 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, three nieces, eight nephews, two godsons Jacinto Hills of Savannah, GA and Marcellus Moore of Levy, SC; three goddaughters Erika Moxley of Phenix City, AL; JaNique Forde of Houston, TX; and JaDana Butler of Savannah, GA, a very special friend for many years Ricky Thomas and host of other relatives and friends.

Howard’s father, Howard Reid Sr.; his daughter, Sonji L. Reid; grandmother Eula Mae “Doozie” Price; grandfather Henry Campfield daughter-in-law, Angela Reid; sister-in-law, Mary Reid; and grandson, Amir Reid preceded him in death.

Adams announces funeral services of Mr. Howard L. Reid, Jr. "Brother" which will be held 12:00 P.M., Monday, October 7, 2019 at Second Arnold Baptist Church located 1427 E. 37th St.

Viewing: 12:00 P.M.- - 6:00 P.M., Sunday, October 6, 2019 in The Adams Chapel.

Interment: Cummingsville Cemetery, Levy, S.C.
