Gonzella and Carolyn Trimble were blessed with their gift from God on March 29, 1982, Gon Ayo Damon Trimble. He was Carolyn’s only child and God’s answer to her continuous prayers for more than six years. He was the youngest son of Gonzella.
Gon was educated in the Chatham County Public School System. He attended Isle of Hope Elementary School, Myers Middle School and graduated from Jenkins High School in 2000. He played basketball at the YMCA on Habersham and for Myers Middle School. Coach Hawthorn called him a “pure shooter”!
