Adams announces the passing of Mr. Anthony Demethi Davis, 56, who transitioned on Sunday, October 11, 2020 in Walterboro, S.C.
Adams announces graveside services of Mr. Anthony Davis which will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 19, 2020.
Mr. Anthony Demethi (Nap) Davis was born in Savannah, GA to the late Hillis and Errie Davis on July 15, 1964
He attended the public schools of Chatham County and Ramah Parochial School. He was a graduate of Savannah High School class of 1983. Anthony was active in ROTC, Drama Club and Savannah Philharmonic Pentacostal Chorale. He was a proud SHS Blue Jacket.
Anthony was a "Jack of all Trades" He was a excellent cook, caregiver, and Truck Driver. He worked many years in these professions.
He was a member of West Broad Seventh Day Adventist Church where he served as a Deacon, Usher, Community Service Leader, Pathfinder Leader, and Culinary Arts Department. Anthony loved to sing and formed the group "One Accord".
Anthony entered into rest on Sunday, October 11, 2020 He was preceded in death by his brothers Jimmy Davis and Louis Cooper sisters Rhoda Jackson Bryant and Elnora Young.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory brothers Joseph N Jackson Jr, Kenneth L Davis Sr, and Samia Maurice Davis. Sisters Debra Greene, Carolyn Davis, Deadira (David) Brents, Betty Pate, and Barbara Gordon.Two devoted nieces Delettra TaJuana Jackson and Karshundra (Shaun) Mack many loving and dedicated nephews and nieces, a host of cousins, church family, and friends.
Nap as he was affectionately known to many was very devoted to his family. He will be missed, but will forever be in our hearts.
