Mr. Shedrick Michael Martin, Jr., 89, transitioned on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services for Mr. Shedrick M. Martin, Jr. will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 8, 2016 at
St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church located 11500 Middleground Rd.

Public viewing will be held from 10:00 A.M.-6:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the funeral home.

Interment: Bonaventure Cemetery/ Greenwich Section.


OBITUARY:
Homegoing services for Mr. Shedrick M. Martin, Jr. will be held on Friday morning, July 8, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Francis Cabrini located 11500 Middleground Rd. "Shed, as he was lovingly called, was a retired city administrator, a former detective, and a former educator. Meticulous at all times, Mr. Martin departed this life after a brief illness, transitioning on Saturday afternoon, July 2, 2016.

Left to mourn his passing are a devoted wife, Matilda Bryan Martin; two daughters of Atlanta, Beverly Clark and Brenda Wimberly; a step-daughter, Dr. Anissa Heath Johnson of Athens, GA; four grandchildren, six great grands, and a host of close relatives and friends.
