Mr. Roscoe ""Papa Rock"" Sneed, 72, had his transition on Friday, May 09, 2014 surrounded by his loving family under the excellent and professional care of Hospice Savannah, Inc.

Funeral services for Mr. Roscoe ""Papa Rock"" Sneed will be held 11:00AM, Friday, May 16, 2014 at Hutchinson Longstreet Missionary Baptist Church in Stilson GA.

Interment: Cone Cemetery.

Public viewing will be held 10:00AM-6:00PM, Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the funeral home.

OBITUARY:

Roscoe Sneed was born in Stilson, GA on July 25, 1941 to the late James & Helen Sneed. He departed this life on Friday May 9, 2014.

He was united in holy matrimony to Beula Sneed on September 23, 1961. He worked at Lowes for 28 years where he retired in 2005.

He is survived by his loving wife, Beula Sneed and their four children DeWayne Sneed, Carl (Stephanie) Sneed, Alissa (Martin) Mincey, Karen (Marion) Owens, one sister Villetta Florence and two brothers, Mack Sneed of Statesboro and Jack (Elizabeth) Sneed of Ocala, FL. He also leaves a host of grands, great grands, several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
