Mr. Roger ""Big Mac"" McAdams

Mr. Roger McAdams, 69, had his transition on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Riverview Health and Rehab.

Funeral services for Mr. Roger ""Big Mac"" Adams will be held 10:00A.M., Friday, October 24, 2014 at West Broad St. Seventh Day Adventist located 2501 MLK Jr. Blvd.


Interment: Beaufort National Cemetery.


Public viewing will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the funeral home from 10:00A.M.-6:00P.M.

OBITUARY:

Roger R McAdams 12/31/44-10/19/14. 70 passed away after a long illness. Born in Birmingham, Ala he moved to Akron at an early age. He graduated from South High School in 1964. He is preceded in death by mother, Grace M. McIvery, father Charlie J. McIvery, brother John F. McIvery, daughter Melissa Thomas. Roger honorable served in the U.S. Marine Corp, later married and raised a family.He was self-employed as a contractor for over 26 years. He loved family, friends, cooking and the Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by children, Lynnette (Stacy) Jenkins, Roger R (Edrian) McAdams, Shannon (Ricardo) McAdams, Vance Sams. previous wife, care giver Clara Brown. brothers Anthony (Tina)McIvery, Jessie McIvery. sisters Malinda (David) Collins, Faye McCollough. 12 grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
