Mr. Robert Lee Williams, 71, had his transition on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Candler General Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee Williams will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 17, 2016 at United House of Prayer for All People on Ogeechee Rd.

Interment: Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.

Public Viewing: Friday, September 16, 2016 at the funeral home.

Obituary:

Mr. Robert  Lee Williams, 71, had his transition peacefully on Sunday September 11, 2016 at Candler General Hospital, surrounded by his family.   Mr. Williams was born on July 10, 1945, in Chatham County, GA, the son of the late Frank Williams Sr. and Laura Ann Williams and was a member of  The United House of Prayer for All People.  He was  a 1963 graduate of Tompkins High School and a retired and proud Business  Owner of  Robert’s Auto Care of 46 years.  He also was a Certified Auto Mechanic and Electronic Specialist with many Certificates of  Accreditation.

Preceded by his  Father Frank Williams Sr. and his Mother Laura Ann Williams.  He is survived by Arlene Shaw Williams a loving and devoted Wife for over 51 years; one Daughter, Rhonda Williams of Savannah, GA; one Grandson, Xavier Brannan of Savannah, GA;  two Brothers; Frank Jr. (Carolyn)Williams and Apostle Melvin Williams Sr. all of Savannah, GA; one Sister, Margaret Lindsey of  Upper Marlboro, MD; one Aunt, Melvina Greene of Miami, FL (Jacksonville), two God Sisters, Aretha Durham of Savannah, GA and Janice Priester of Atlanta, GA; one God Brother, Apostle  C. R. Durham of Savannah, GA and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
