Mr. Ray Williams

Ray Williams 46, parted this life, to move on to a more peaceful place of rest on July 25,2016, On this day, we lost a soldier and gained an angel. His spirit will forever live on.

Ray Williams was born March 28, 1970 in Springfield Ga. to Arthur Lee Williams and Evelina Dukes-Williams, the family later moved to Savannah Ga. where he was raised and spent the rest of his life, until making his final transition.

Mr. Williams was employed by a local Security Agency, and Chatham Toyota -Lexus. He enjoyed restoring old furniture, fixing things, meticulously creating a number of art pieces and styles; but most of all he was known for restoring and redesigning antique automobiles.

He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Lee Williams, his brother Gregory Williams, and sisters Latina Miller, and Gina Jones

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife Nekya Jenkins-Williams, his mother Evelina Williams, his aunts Janice and Pookie, brothers; Troy D. Williams Sr.  Lee-Arnell Williams, Terri Height, Gerald Johnson, and Jerimiah Jones, sisters; Paula Harvey, Katrina Groover, and Keisha Avant.  three sister in-laws, children, Rayshaun Johnson, Ethrum Jenkins, Tyshaun, and Deshaun Johnson, Ontario Williams, Sharaye Williams, Ray, Dionte, and Jameer Watts, Cameron Smith, Raven Williams, Haley, Jordan, Maddock Gerido, Gregory and Jeremiah Maynard. four beloved nieces; Adriene and, Shavaonna Pryor Brittany and Gierra Kennedy three nephews; Le-Arnell White, Troy D. Williams I, and Troy D. Williams III and host of close relatives and friends.

Funeral will be held Friday, August 5, 2016 at 2:00PM. First Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church.

Interment Woodville Cemetery.
