Mr. Merilus J. Simms, 70, had his transition on Sunday, August 17, 2014 surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph's Hospital.



Alpha Phi Alpha Omega and Memorial service for Mr. Merilus Simms will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, September 6, 2014 at First Congregational Church located 421 Habersham St. with a Repast following the service.



OBITUARY:

Merilus J. Simms born September 18th 1943 Age (70) passed away on Sunday Afternoon August 17, 2014 at St. Joseph's Candler Hospital in Savannah Georgia. He is survived by his wife Glorious G. Simms and two daughter's Mindy Simms and Alaina Simms. He also leaves behind two brother's Louis Simms, Richard Simms; a niece and nephew, Priscilla- Hamilton Taylor, and Russell Simms; along with many friends, and extended family. The memorial service will be announced at a later date. He will be missed as much as he was loved; he was a sweet soul with beautiful eyes.
