Adams announces the passing of Mr. Leonard Massey, 60, who transitioned on Monday, October 10, 2022 at his residence.

Leonard Ellis Massey (Leo), age 60, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2022, in Savannah, Georgia. He was born January 2, 1962, to Earline Sheppard and Joe Massey. He married Hope Johnson (1985-2003) and had six beautiful children. He retired from the City of Savannah after 10 years of service and took on the role of primary care provider for his mother. Although he only had a 9^th grade education his greatest accomplishment was caring and providing for his family. Leonard Ellis Massey was a lion of a man! Although he had a meek and gentle temperament, he fiercely loved and cared for those around him. He is survived by his mother, Earline Sheppard, sister, Barbara Massey, four brothers, Earl Massey, Byron Massey, Dwight Massey, Marvin Sheppard, and 5 children, Katie Larsen, Leonard Massey, Hope Garner, Nicole Dunbar, Jelea Massey, and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He has been united in glory with his son Jahnard Massey and other beloved family members!

 Adams announces the graveside services for Mr. Leonard Massey which will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Greenwich Cemetery.

Viewing will be held from 4 PM - 6 PM, Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at the funeral home.
