Mr. Josie Lee Robinson, Jr.

Josie Lee “Joe Lee” Robinson, Jr was born to Ms. Lula Mae Black and Josie Lee Robinson Sr. in Savannah, GA.  While growing up in Savannah, he received his education in the Chatham County School System and grew up attending church regularly.  As a young boy, he loved playing basketball, football, stick ball, marbles, and other neighborhood games that were popular in his childhood days.  Joe Lee was always a fun loving, playful and friendly young boy with a great sense of humor as a kid.

Later in his adult life, on March 15, 1996 he met and began dating a young woman named  Elsie.  They grew to love each other and later married in Independence, MO on January 21, 2005.  But after years of battling with a series of underlying health issues and courageously and faithfully fighting to recover, God summoned our dear brother home into eternity on October 19, 2023 at the age of 61.  At his passing, he was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor and keep alive his legacy by living their lives to the fullest as he would’ve wanted them to.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His loving  wife Elsie; Three sons: Joelee III, Marcus (Lucy), Javon; a daughter: Janeeka; His mother: Ms. Lula Mae Richardson of Savannah, GA, Six brothers: Jimmy Daniels (Gwen) of Seneca, SC, Fred Daniels of Savannah,  Anthony Robinson (Georgetta) of Savannah, GA, Nathaniel Robinson (Angela) of Savannah, GA, Leon Robinson of Newark, NJ, Samuel Robinson (Kiawanna) of Savannah, GA; Two sisters: Juanita Bell of Irvington, NJ, Barbara Ann Osbourne of Savannah, GA, grandchildren: Christopher, Javon Jr, Javari, Carter, Jordan, Markhia, Messiah and  His blended family to morn him includes stepchildren: Danine, David and Terrie Lynn; Brother in Laws Richard, Wiley and Alfred (deceased) and a host of  grandchildren, great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and special friends whom all dearly loved him. He is preceded in death by Father: Josie Lee Robinson, Sr.; Grandmother: Ernestine Brewster; Sisters: Willie Mae Johnson, Joette Daniels, JoeAnn  Daniels; Brothers: Joseph Daniels, Bobby Daniels; Son: Nick Robinson
