Adams announces the passing of Mr. John Hamilton, 78, who transitioned on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at his residence.

Adams announces the Graveside Services for Mr. John Edward Hamilton, Sr., 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Oak Grove Cemetery. 

John E. Hamilton was born on November 18, 1939 and received his heavenly wings quietly on the morning of November 25, 2017. John was a dedicated member of True Vine Holiness Church where he served on the Deacon board for many years. He was preceded in death by parents: Perry and Evelyn Garrett, six sister; Shirley Williams, Lucille Washington, Marilyn Bryant, (deceased), Anna Holland (deceased), Caritha Deloach (deceased), Elizabeth Royal (Tony), three brothers; Charles Garrett, Jonathan Garrett, and Willie Garrett.
He leaves to cherish his many memories: wife, Beaulah Hamilton; six children, John “J. Michaels” Garrett, Antonio Hamilton, Tammy S. Hamilton, Ronald Hamilton, April Hamilton, and his baby girl, Varnease Hamilton; seventeen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren; mother of his children and friend, Frances M. Stamper; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
