JaJuan McDowell was born on March 7, 2002 in Savannah, GA. He attended Savannah Chatham County Public schools in which West Chatham was the last school he attended prior to relocating to Atlanta, GA in December. JaJuan was currently enrolled at Otwell Middle School in North Atlanta, GA. At the tender age of 7, JaJuan accepted Christ and was baptized at St. Luke Baptist Church in North Little Rock, AR. He later moved his membership to Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the spiritual guidance of Pastor Willie C. Rice Jr.
JaJuan loved God and he knew who God was. JaJuan was a lovable child who loved to smile, his smile would light up a room. He was a humble person and always put others before himself; he also loved his family and would always say before going to bed, ""Dad can you come say the prayer."" JaJuan was an avid animal lover. In fact he would have us at Pet Smart buying animals that could be caught in the yard. People would come over and say this is like an exhibit from a Pet store. JaJuan loved spending time playing video games with his Big Brother TyJuan (TJ). He was his Mama's baby and was his mom all over again. JaJuan was the Big Brother to his God Brother Jordan and his cousin Zaeem, who called him Pluto and his cousin Jamah, who often called him Bubba. JaJuan was very creative and loved to draw and build things. He loved to show his drawings off to his Loving Grand-Uncle Nae who called him Mr. Pitiful. He would have a Lego set and build something totally different from what was on the box.
He was preceded in death by his Great-grandmothers; Mrs. Julia Riley Young and Johnny Mae Bragg.
