Mr. Gilbert Miller, Jr

Mr. Gilbert Miller, Jr., 88, also known as Junior died Wednesday April 2, 2014 at Hospice of Savannah. Gilbert was born July 13, 1925 to Gilbert and Ameila Ford Miller.

He was the oldest of three children. One of whom preceded him in death, Mrs. Reatha Smalls, along with both of his parents.

Funeral will be Thursday April 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at First African Baptist Church of East Savannah. 402 Treat Street, Rev. Thomas Williams, Pastor/Eulogist.

Public viewing will be held 10:00AM-6:00PM, Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the funeral home.

Interment: Hillcrest Abbey East on Wheaton St. with Military Honors.

Gilbert leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted wife Mildred Miller and seven children, Gilbert Miller III Savannah, GA, Alfred Kenneth Miller (Shirley) Savannah, Georgia, Penelope Jones Raleigh NC, Glenn (Faye) Miller Arlington Texas, Ivan (Maxine) Miller Raleigh NC, Stephanie Miller and Beverly (Anthony) Rowe Savannah, Georgia. One sister, Alfreida (James) Jenkins Beaufort SC and a very special cousin, Janie Owens. A host of grands and great grands, cousins, nieces and nephews.
