Mr. Franklin Thompson

Mr. Frank Thompson,66, had his transition Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Riverview Health and Rehabilation Care,

The Savannah native attended the public schools of Chatham County and graduated from A.E. Beeach High School in 1961 One brother preceded him in death.

Mr. Thompson served his contry as a Veteran in the Unied State Army with an Honorable Discharge.

Survivors: sisters: Delores Williams (Ricardo) of Savannah, Berdie Richardson of Philadelphia, PA and Shirley Whitfield of Dale City, VA; brothers: Johnny L. Thompson(Virginia) 0f Savannah, Clarence Thompson and William Thompson, both of Philadelphia, PA, Luther Thompson of Houston, TX, Marion Thompson (Valeria) of Charleston, SC and Ulysses Thompson(Shirley) of Brooklyn, NY; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Thursday, June 26, 2008 at St. John ""The Mighty Fortress"" Baptist Church, 522-528 Hartridge Street, Savannah, GA, Rev. George P. Lee, III, Pastor. Public viewing: Wednesday, June 25, 2008 from 9am-8pm at the funeral home In state 9am until hour of service. Interment: Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC with Military Honor.
