Adams announces the passing of Mr. Edward S.Gee, 84 who transitioned on Monday, October 2, 2017 at his residence.

Edward S. Gee, better known as "Pee-Wee", was born to B.W. Allen and Helen Willamson Gee, May 7, 1933 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Edward made his transition to be with the Lord October 2, 2017. He was a member of the St. Marks Episcopal Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Edward was raised in Yellow Mill Village on the east side of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Edward graduated from Harding High School in 1951 where he was an all state athlete in four sports; football, basketball, baseball and track. That same year he married his high school sweetheart Doris Woolfolk. Edward & Doris raised 3 children, Craig M. Gee, Edward Gee Jr. and Sheryl Gee. Edward was a dedicated community builder and leader who was committed to family and community. He worked for ABCD, managed the Beardsley Terrace teen center and also umpired and coached high school and college athletics. He was an employee of Textron for 38 years before retiring and moving with his wife Doris to live in Houston, Texas where his daughter and grandsons lived. In 2015, the entire Gee family relocated to Savannah, Georgia. Edward Gee was loved and respected by all.

Edward leaves behind his wife of 66 years, Doris Woolfolk Gee, daughter Sheryl Gee, grandsons Michael Gee and Jevon Gee and great granddaughter Tinara Thomlinson. Edward was predeceased by his two sons Craig Gee (1994) and Edward Gee Jr. (1995) and a host of nieces, nephews and cherished friends. His legacy will live on forever...
