Adams announces the passing of Mr. Daniel L. Elliott, 58 , who transitioned on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Emory University Atlanta.

Celebration of Life services for Minister Daniel Lee Elliott, Sr. will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Emmanuel Tabernacle Apostolic Faith Church- 1001 E. Henry St. Savannah, GA 31401.

Viewing will be held from 4 PM - 6 PM, Friday, August 23, 2024 at the funeral home.

Burial: Greenwich Cemetery.

Minister Elliott was a dedicated servant of God, a loving family man, and a cherished member of

the community.

He was born on September 25, 1965, in Savannah, Georgia. Daniel was the beloved son of the

late Charles and Elizabeth Elliott. From a young age, he felt a calling to serve the Lord, and he

pursued this calling with unwavering faith and devotion throughout his life.

Minister Elliott was a graduate of Beach High School, where he earned his high school diploma.

His passion for the ministry led him to serve in various capacities, where he touched countless

lives with his kindness, wisdom, and spiritual guidance.

He married the love of his life, Minister LaTrese Elliott, on June 27, 1992, and together they built

a life centered on faith, family, and community service. Daniel was a proud father to Daniel Jr.

and Emmanuel, and his legacy of love and leadership will continue to thrive through them.

Daniel and LaTrese also owned and operated Elliott Limousine Service, their business that their

eldest son now manages.

As a child, he faithfully attended Emmanuel Tabernacle, where his spiritual journey began. Upon

reaching adulthood, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and became an active member of the Love

of God Holiness Church under the guidance of Elder James Jackson. He later continued his

service at the Greater Christ Temple Holiness Church, where he served from 1998 to 2009

under the leadership of Bishop Willie B. Mitchell and later under District Elder Dennis Mitchell

for the next fifteen years, remaining dedicated until his passing.

Minister Elliott was preceded in death by Charles Elliott (Father), Elizabeth Elliott (Mother), and

Henry Elliott (Brother). He is survived by his devoted wife, Minister LaTrese Elliott, and his

beloved children, Daniel Jr. and Emmanuel. He is also mourned by his five siblings: Sadie Jinks,

Linda Washington (Louis), Betty Frazier (Stanley), Sharon Thomas, Margie Lang, and Kinsley

Elliott. In addition, he leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Margaret Barnwell, Issac Moore

(Johnnie Mae), Rebecca Chisolm, Ella Childers, Shirley Davis (Solomon), Mary Louise Williams,

Charles Moore (Vera), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.

Minister Daniel Lee Elliott will be dearly missed, but his spirit and influence will continue to guide

us all.
