Dear friends and family,
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sgt. Dan A. Kroll, who left this world on June 20, 2024, in Port Wentworth, Georgia. Born on July 14, 1952, in Berlin, Wisconsin, Dan lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication.
Dan was a kind and welcoming soul, known for his great sense of humor and the love for his daughters, Sophia Hardy and Sierra Hardy. He also shared a special bond with his loyal companion, Benji (dog).
Serving his country with honor and distinction, Dan dedicated 20 years of his life to the United States Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant. His military service was not just a job but a true calling that he embraced wholeheartedly.
Dan will be remembered for his warm personality and the positive impact he had on all who knew him. His memories will live on through his beloved daughters Sophia Hardy and Sierra Hardy.
Dan is preceded in death by his father Hasley Kroll and mother Madeline Fredericks Kroll. His grandson Xavier J. Massey Jr., brother Russell Kroll, sisters Eva Riley and Susan Hagar.
In addition to his immediate family, Dan is survived by his other sibilings Emma Curtis and Grace Kettlewell (sisters), brothers John Kroll and David Kroll, a host of nieces and nephews, and close friend Latasha Hill.
A Graveside Service to honor and celebrate the life of Sgt. Dan A. Kroll will be held on July 10, 2024, at Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, South Carolina. The service will begin at 11:00 AM.
In this time of grief, may we find solace in the cherished memories we shared with Dan and take comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on in our hearts forever.
Rest in peace, Sgt. Dan A. Kroll. Your legacy will never be forgotten.
