Adams announces the passing of Mr. Coy Winfield Futch, 57 who transitioned on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Reflections of life

Mr. Coy W. Futch was born September 26, 1959, to the late Kellie Futch and Rosa Lee Wade Futch in Savannah GA.  He was the youngest of six siblings.  He attended A.E Beach High School.

He was employed over 15years with Comcast of Savannah. He further pursued his career with Southeast Utilities of Georgia.

Coy was affectionate, humble, quiet and very soft spoken. He was friendly and always willing to help others. He loved to work and was passionate about any job he pursued.  Coy was a family man and he loved the Lord. He attended Overcoming by Faith Ministry.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Jerry Futch.

On August 22, Coy Winfield Futch entered into eternal rest at Memorial Medical University Center.

He leaves to cherish his legacy and memories: The love of his life, his wife of 15 years  Mary Virgil-Futch. a special mother: Mrs. Alma Middleton. A devoted daughter, Valerie Virgil. Sons: Kevin(Chuvalo) Kelly, Orlando, FA, Curtis (Danielle) Virgil, of Savannah, Ronald Virgil(Fayetteville, NC). Sisters: Lucille Jenks, Shirley Stinson, and Jewel Middelton all of Savannah. Brothers, Randy Futch of VA, Lawrence Futch, Donald Middelton, Charles Middleton, and James C. Middleton, Jr. all of Savannah, Dennis Futch of AL. Sisters-in-law Helen Debro, and Katherine McEachern: brothers in law, Lee Kelley, Arthur Kelly and Alexander Kelly. One godson, Everette Davis Jr.,  A special aunt: Lillie Foxworth. Ten grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.  His Best friend: “Sam” will really miss him.
