Mr. Charles "Chuck" E. Graves

Mr. Charles Eugene Graves "Chuck", 76, had his transition on Friday, September 09, 2016 at Candler General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. 

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Eugene Graves will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 19, 2016 in The Adams Chapel with Military Honors. Rev. Quentin Morris, Officiating.

US Army Master SGT (ret) Charles E. Graves made his transition on Sept 9, 2016, he was 76 years old. 
He is preceeded in death by his parents Alma Shipley and John T Graves. He leaves his wife Elsie R Graves, son Marcus Graves, daughter-n-law Dr. Renita Graves, grandson Marcus Noah Graves all of whom reside in Savannah Ga. His sister Susan Deary of Silversprings MD, nephews Arthur and Chris Gaines and two Uncles, an aunt, and a special cousin Margerie Gunn of Memphis Tenn. His high school class mates of 1958, Trenholm High School in Tuscumbia AL, and many friends. 
He served in the military for 24 years, he was a veteran of the Vietnam War;  as well as tours of duty in Europe, the far and middle east. He received two Bronze Stars, one with an Oak Leaf Cluster for his actions while in combat. In his later years of military service  he served as a club manager for Hunter Army Air Field NCO and Officers Club.
Charles E Graves was a world traveler, and he loved  every moment of it... If he were here today he would proudly tell you  "I did it my way"...
