Mr. Calvin Louis Blackshire, Jr., 27, had his transition on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Funeral services for Mr. Calvin Louis Blackshire, Jr. will be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday, January 28, 2017 at West Broad Street Seventh-day Adventist Church located 2501 MLK Jr. Blvd.

Interment: Greenwich Cemetery.

Public viewing will be held from 10:00A.M. - 6:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home.

OBITUARY:

Mr. Clavin Louis Blackshire, Jr. was born in Savannah, Georgia, December 03, 1989 the son of Mr.Calvin

L. Blackshire Sr. and Mrs. Pamela A. Blackshire . He attended Emanuel Christian Academy for

kindergarten here in Savannah, Georgia. He later moved to Wahiawa,  Hawaii where he attended

 Wheeler Elementary School . He completed his informal education at Southview H.S. in Hope Mills N.C.

He was a body building enthusiast and could bench press up to 300lbs. He was also well

known  for commanding the attention of many with his  fancy footwork as an avid dancer.

 He was employed as a “Merge Operator at Walmart Distribution Center in Hope Mills, N.C.   Calvin Louis

Blackshire, Jr. departed this life  Friday, Jan. 20, 2017 from Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Fayetteville,

N.C. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving  parents Mr. Calvin and  Mrs.Pamela

Blackshire, one son Calvin L. Blackshire III aka (Tre); one sister Olivia Blackshire and a loving companion

Nancy David all of NorthCarolina. God Mother Mrs. Erica Davis of Savannah, GA. Twelve aunts, two

uncles, and a host of loving family and friends.
