Mr. Angress Walker, Sr

Angress Walker, Sr, 99 of Savannah, Ga. departed for heaven on December 30, 2014, after a brief illness. He was born in Screven County. He was the fourteenth child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Walker.

He leaves to mourn six children: Angress Jr. (Ruthie) of Charleston, SC, Mattie (Joseph) Johnson of Savannah, Mildred Jones, Malcolm (Marcia), and Wanda, all of Atlanta, and Harry (Debra) of Naples, FL.; Six grandchildren, three great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral services will take place Monday, January 5, 2015 at 12 (noon) at St. Philip AME Church, 613 MLK Jr. Blvd., Savannah, Ga. Rev. Scottie Swinney will officiate with eulogy by Rev. Gregory Eason.


Family will receive friends Sunday, January 4, 2015, in Adams Funeral Services Chapel from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Internment at Hillcrest Abbey East.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to St. Philip AME Church in honor of Angress Walker, Sr.
