Funeral services for Mother Rachel Allen Brown will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at First Friendship Missionary Baptist Church located 506 Hamilton Ct.

Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M., Monday, February 8, 2016 at First Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

Interment: Reynolds Cemetery, Lady's Island, S.C.


OBITAURY:

Rachel Allen Brown was born February 11, 1918 to Eliza Blue and Phillip Allen on Coosaw Island, South Carolina. She enjoyed more than 60 years of marriage to the love of her life, William Atkins Brown. Mamie Singleton, one step daughter proceeded her in death.
She leaves with cherished memories, nephews; Julius Smith(Gladys),Lanham MD, James Porter(Louise), Germantown, MD, Jerry Porter and Carl Porter ( Florence), Philadelphia PA, Sherman Jones, Beaufort, SC, Robert Daise, Miami FL. ; nieces, Doris Fennell(Hally), Columbia SC, Patricia Stafford and Debora Smith, Savannah GA; four step grandchildren, Nathan Singleton (Ida),Eleanor Simons(Edward), Racheal Singleton, Pat Singleton, and a host of grand nieces and nephews, family and friends.
