Aaron "FireNinjaAJ" Duplechien, Jr., 11, transitioned on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at his Residence surrounded by his loving and caring family.
Born on November 12, 2012, Aaron Michael brought joy and love into the lives of those around him from the very beginning. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed.
Aaron Michael attended Heard Elementary and was passionate about Science, French, Pokemon, Legos, and Beyblades. His kindness, enthusiasm, and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him. He had a way of interacting with you that left a lasting impression.
In addition to his pursuit of becoming a Master Trainer, Aaron Michael was known for his kindness, generosity and compassion. He had a heart full of joy, and his laughter could brighten even the darkest days.
He is survived by Natalie (Mommy), Aaron (Daddy) Olivia (Sissy), Catherine (Grandma), Stephen (Grandfather), Pam (Mimi), Mac (Pawpaw), Zenas (Uncle), Derek (Uncle), Daniel (Uncle), TJ (Paran), Barry (Uncle), Wanda (Aunt), Holly (Aunt), Gloria (Godmother), Lisa (Godmother), and Jace (God-brother), who all cherish his memory and continue his legacy. Aaron Michael will be remembered for his infectious laughter and fighting spirit. His impact on the lives of those he touched will continue to be felt far beyond those he physically met.
The family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Aaron Michael's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A memorial service will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 25, 2023 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church- 28698 LA-23, Port Sulphur, LA 70083.
Visitation 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM, Rosary: 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church- 28698 LA-23, Port Sulphur, LA 70083.
A visitation with the family will be held from 6 PM - 8 PM, Friday, December 1, 2023 at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Savannah, GA.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 2, 2023 at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Savannah, GA.
Burial will be held at Beaufort National Cemetery at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 4, 2023 in Beaufort, SC.
