Mark M. Mazo, Jr

Mark ""Nick"" Mazo, Jr., 17, the son of Mark, Sr. and Michelle ""Shelia"" Mazo, had his transition Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA.

A native of Savannah, GA, ""Nick"" as he was affectionately known, was educated in Chatham County and Atlanta, GA public school systems. He was well known and was a very gifted Artist and Photographer. ""Nick"" was loved by many of his peers, also he was apart of the Positive Role Model Group, AWOL.

""Nick"" was employed at Wendy's, also Checker's and Kroger. At an early age, he attended Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Archie Fields.

Survivors: his loving and devoted parents: Mark M. Mazo, Sr. and Michelle ""Shelia"" Mazo; brother, Marcus Robinson (Rosalyn); sister, Nexxus Mazo; aunts: Rainey Mazo, Georgetta Bost, Cinnamon Allen (Willie), Pamela Bost (Eugene), all of Savannah, GA, Denise Mazo of Midway, GA, Eddiemae Mazo of Houston, TX, and Salena Roberts of Jacksonville, FL; uncles: Jaudon Bost (Cheryl) of Atlanta, GA, Kenneth Mazo (Sherrill), James Mazo (Rosemary), Jeffery Mazo, all of Hinesville, GA; Eddie Mazo (Baraba) of Philadelphia, PA and Derke Mazo (Canotta) of Pineland, SC; nieces: Niya Robinson and Amani Robinson; nephew, Keshawn Robinson; godsister, Marie Graham; a host of cousins, godmothers, other extended relatives, some special friends Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Walker, Mr. & Mrs. Tony Jordon, the AWOL Cast: Ronnie Hensy; AWOL Jaquyine Nolden, and many other friends.

A special thanks is extended to Kroger 609, Robert Truck Center, Enmark 660, Hinesville family, Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Memorial Health Universal Doctors, Nurses and TICU, Southside family and Adams Funeral Services, Inc.

Funeral service: 11:00am, Monday, October 27, 2008 at Macendonia Missionary Baptist Church 510 East Jones Street, Savannah, GA Rev. Willie C. Rice, Pastor/Eulogist Rev. Alfred Braxton Presiding. Public viewing: Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Adams Funeral Services, Inc, 510 Stephenson Avenue from 12:00 noon - 8:00pm. Mr. Mazo will lie in state at the church, Monday from 9:00am until hour of service. Interment: Woodville Cemetery, Roberts Street (West Savannah), Savannah, GA.
