Madlin Harris Mitchell

Mrs. Madlin Harris Mitchell, 86, had her transition Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Spanish Oaks Hospice, 8510 Whitfield Avenue, Savannah, GA 31406 surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

She retired from Candler General Hospital as a Sterile Technician. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 601 East Henry Street, Savannah, GA for sixty-four dedicated years, where she sang in the Senior Choir and a member of the Mission Society.

Survivors: children: Claudine Mitchell Lee (Roland) of Los Angeles, CA, W. John Mitchell, JoAnne Mitchell, both of Savannah
and Sandra Mitchell-Walker (Curtis) of Delmon, Florida; a sister, Lucille Wright of Savannah; three sisters-in-law, Lillie Daniels of Savannah, Clara Bing of Philadelphia, PA and Mary Mitchell of New York and other relatives and friends.

Visitation: 5:45pm-6:45pm, Friday, August 29, 2008 at Adams Funeral Services, 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, GA. In state 9:00am until hour of service. Funeral service: 11:00am Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 601 East Henry Street, Savannah, GA Interment: Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Savannah, GA.
