Linda Kearse Lewis

Mrs. Linda M. Lewis, 47, had her transition Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Hospice Savannah.

A native of Savannah, she attended the public schools of Chatham County, where she served as Miss Beach High School in 1977-1978 and Captain of the Cheerleading Team. Also, she attended Savannah State College. Mrs. Lewis was a faithful and active member of Overcoming By Faith Ministries, where Pastor Ricky Temple serves as Pastor. She served and gave support to various ministries. She was active in many organizations. She was employed at Memorial Health University Medical Center for sixteen years.

Her husband, Steven Howell Lewis, Sr, mother, Willie Mae Kearse and father, Edward Kearse, Sr., preceded her in death.

Survivors: sons: Steven Howell Lewis, Jr and Edward Joshua Lewis; daughters: TaKara Laquonia Lewis and Danielle Catrina Beatrice Greene, all of Savannah; sisters: Barbara K. Ross of Atlanta, GA, Alvenia Robinson and Catherine Bennett, all of Savannah; brothers, Billy (Ethel) Kearse and Edward Kearse, II, Ralph Williams and Herbert (Daisy) Williams, all of Savannah; sisters-in-law: Janice (Rev. Larry) Bryant, Julie Lewis and Dr. Angie Lewis; brothers-in-law: Barry (Gizelle) Kennedy, Charles Ross of Atlanta, GA ; a special aunt, Cornelia Frazier of New York City; uncle, William Miller of Savannah; a host of nieces, nephews, other extended relatives and friends.

Celebration of life will be held 11am, Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Overcoming By Faith Ministries, Pastor Ricky Temple, Pastor.

Public viewing: Tuesday, August 26, 2008 from 1pm-8pm at Adams
Funeral Services, Inc., 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, GA 31405

In state: 9am until hour of service.
