Jesse Lee Reddy was born on August 28, 1951 to Reatha (Reddy) Rogers and the late Benjamin Reddy Sylvania, GA. Jesse was educated in Clyo, GA, and Brooklyn, NY. He was an Infantryman at Ft. Stewart, GA, in 1976 and received accommodations as a sharpshooter. He had the ""gift of gab"" and never met a stranger. He was a free spirit who enjoyed the outdoors, the quiet solitude of bass fishing, and the angelic voice of Mahalia Jackson. We will miss his intelligence, his sense of humor, and his curiosity about the mysteries of life.
He leaves behind a mother, Reatha Rogers and step-father, Blackwell Rogers(Savannah, GA); one daugher, Felicia Brower (Lovettsville, VA); two sons, Ricky Walker (Amityville, NY); Khalif Reddy (Washington, DC); one brother, Benjamin Reddy, Jr. (Augusta, GA); five sisters, Betty Odom and Bobbie Reddy (Savannah, GA); Annette Williams and Marchil Reddy (Augusta, GA); Valarie Rouse (North Augusta, SC); a sister, Sara Nell Felton, who perceded him in death, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
