Adams announces funeral services for Frances Violet Vallone aka Frankie "Lula Vive" Vaz which will be held 1:30 PM, Thursday, August 5, 2021 in The Adams Chapel.

Viewing will be held from 6 PM - 8 PM, Wednesday, August 4, 2021 in The Adams Chapel.
Interment: Newton Cemetery, Pooler, GA.

OBITUARY:

Frances was a recent resident of Atlanta, Ga but always called Savannah her hometown. Savannah is where she grew up with her mom and sister, where she made life-long friendships, and was a vibrant part of the local community, especially the LGBTQ community. Growing up, Lula could always be found skating at the Savannah Skating Center, where she held her first job.  Recalling memories from the skating center and that time of her life always brought a smile and lifted her spirit. Frances also enjoyed spending quality time with friends and family, especially during the holidays.

Lula was one-of-kind. she loved unconditionally with a heart as big as the sun and had personality that could shine equally as bright. She lived life to the fullest, showing up 100% authentically and unapologetically herself. She was brave, proud, fabulous, funny, a fighter and a survivor.

As a now legendary entertainer at Club One Jefferson, Felicia’s and other prominent clubs in the southern region, she could captivate any audience. She gave everything to her performances because she loved the stage. Her friends, family, community (including her fans) and her little dogs Cujo & ChiChi meant the world to her. She will be deeply missed.

Frances is preceded in death by her beloved mother Emilia Vaz Vallone. Survived by her siblings Annie Vaz (Tammy) of FL; Ellen Vaz of NJ; Richard Rothman (Margaret) of SC; Aunt Helen of MD; close family friend Patty Parrish Denny of GA; other siblings and lots of cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Adams Funeral Services or the community GoFundMe page to support Lula’s family in carrying out her wishes.
