Elder Dwellie Parris, Jr., 62, had his transition Friday, January 11, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral service for Elder Dwellie Parris, Jr. will be held 1:30 P.M. Sunday, January 20, 2013 at West Broad Seventh Day Adventist.

Internment: Bonaventure Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 7P.M.-8P.M. Friday, January 18, 2013 in the Chapel.

Public viewing will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 12 P.M.-6 P.M. at the funeral home.

Elder Parris will lie in serenity at the church beginning 12:30 P.M. until the hour of service.


OBITUARY:

Elder Dwellie Parris, Jr., 62, died peacefully on Friday morning, January 11, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 34 years, Mrs. Antoinette Delia Parris of Richmond Hill, GA; son, Daryl M. Parris of Savannah, GA; daughter, Davita A. Parris of Richmond Hill, GA; sisters, Mrs. Clifford M. Fields of Waldorf, MD., Mrs. Edna Jones of Savannah, GA, Mrs. Betty S.P. Jackson (Whitney) of Richmond Hill, GA; brothers, Marvin, Michael and Ronald Bryant all of Savannah, GA; a niece-sister, Mrs. Joyce Scott (Willie) of Savannah, GA, a nephew-brother Elder Otis Parris (Sharon); two spiritual brothers, Rev. Chester Ellis (Wilmotine) and Atty. Charles Bell (Mary) all of Savannah, GA; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives. Public viewing and family visitation will be held Friday, January 18, 2013 at 7 pm at Adams Funeral Home. Mr. Parris will lie in state at the funeral home on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 10 am to 6 pm.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 1:30 pm at the West Broad Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2501 MLK Boulevard, Savannah, GA, Eldert Robert Green, Jr. (Pastor), Elder T.A. McNealy (Eulogist).

Interment - Bonaventure Cemetery.
