Edward Charles Redmond

Mr. Edward ""Charles"" Redmond, 57, the son of Willie and Maggie Redmond, had his transition Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Southeast Georgia Health Center in Brunswick, Georgia.

A native of Savannah, Georgia, attended the public schools of Chatham County. After high school, he pursed full-time employment in the Savannah area.

On November 8, 1969m Edward was united in Holy Matrimony to Gwendale Green. The were blessed with two sons.

God blessed Charles with wonderful talents of crafts and creativity. He also possessed a memorable witty and spirited personality, which permeated a joyous presence.

His parents Willie and Maggie Redmond and a brother, Samuel Earl Redmond, preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons: Edward Charles (Ursula) Redmond, Jr., and Troy J. (Lukisha Redmond; a loving friend, Gwendale Redmond Duncan; two sisters: Martha (James) Bellinger and Victoria (Louie) Tukes; two brothers: Willie J. Redmond and Morris L. Redmond; six grands; one great-grand; two sisters-in-law; along with several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Surely Charles will continue to live in the hearts of those that loved and shared his passion for life.
