Mrs. Denise Clark, 43, the wife of Anthony Clark, had her transition Wednesday, October 29, 2008 under the excellent and professional care of Hospice Savannah, Inc in Savannah, GA, surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

She was born to Albert James Crocker and Jerusha Osgood Croker both deceased,on December 7, 1964 in Jersey City, N.J. She was educated in the Catholic School System of Jersey City, N.J. She also attended Jersey City State College.

She joined her mother and became a citizen of Savannah, Georgia in 1991. She was employed by the E.O.A. of Savannah. Denise was the mother of three children, Aaron (deceased), Holland and Hanna. She was married to Mr. Anthony Clark. A loving and caring family was created. She made St. John Baptist Church her home church surrounded by a loving and faitful membership, led by Pastor George P. Lee, III.

She leaves to mourn with cherished memories; Mr. Anthony Clark (husband), Holland and Hanna (children) all of Savannah, Georgia. Mr. James Crocker a grateful brother, from Chicago, IL., Mrs. Elizabeth Blake (aunt)of Rincon, Georgia, cousins; Vivian Hunt (Florida), Barbara Blake, Joan Wilson (Martin), of Savannah, Georgia, Brenda Blake and Deborah Ned of Rincon, Georgia, Mr. John Williamson of Moorestown, N.J., a sister-in-law Mrs. Tanya Smith Jones of Savannah, Georgia, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service: 1:00pm, Monday, November 3, 2008 at St. John ""The Mighty Fortress"" Baptist Church, 526-528 Hartridge Street, Savannah, GA 31401, Rev. George P. Lee, III, Pastor. Public vieiwng: Sunday, November 2, 2008 from 12:00 noon - 8:00 pm at Adams Funeral Services, Inc., 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, GA and Monday, November 2, 2008 from 9:00am until the hour of service at the Church, where she will lie in state. Interment: Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, GA.
