Deacon Robert "Bob " Bess

Adams announces the passing of Deacon Robert Lee Bess "Bob", 87 who transitioned on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Candler General Hospital.

Deacon Bess leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Betty F. Bess, two daughters, Georgia Mincey (Floyd) and Bridgette Bess, a son, Rodney Bess; five grandchildren; Rachel Williams, Dexter Conaway, Marlo Vinson, Dr. Margo Mincey and Shawn Bess;  great grands; six sisters; Sheila Bowser (Gerald), Lynise Smith (Donald), Lydia Bess Thomas, Millicent Frazier (Talmadge), Georgene Montgomery, Ava Roberts; two brothers; Larry Stanley (Helen) and George Bess; five sisters in love; Gertrude Brown (Sam), Mary Kelly (Ivory), Carolyn Blake (Edward), Barbara Walker, Bernice Adams (Deceased), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, three Godchildren, Pamela Heath, Xavier Blake, and Erica Johnson, and an array of friends and colleagues.

Adams announces funeral services for Deacon Robert Lee Bess which will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 9, 2020 at Historic First Bryan Baptist Church located 575 W. Bryan St. Savannah, GA 31401. Christopher Pittman, Pastor.

Entombment: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in the Chapel of Faith.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 4 P.M.- 6 P.M.

with the Omega-Omega Service beginning at 5 P.M.
