Deacon Ivan Clark

Adams announces the passing of Deacon Ivan Matthew Clark, 61, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Candler Hospital surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his father Isaiah Clark, brother Joseph Rivers, and stepfather Leon Hood. He was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the deacon and usher board. He retired from the City of Savannah Park and Tree Department as a Supervisor. He was also a member of the Prince Masonic Hall and Weldon Lodges. Ivan leaves to cherish his loving wife Lona Regina; two daughters; Keiona (Harold) Jenkins, and Brittany (William) Groover; mother Anna Mae Hood; two brothers, Gilbert Clark and Anthony Campbell; mother-in-law Freddie Gardner; aunt, Irene Robin; five grandchildren, six sister-in-laws, three brother-in -laws, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Tremont Temple Baptist Church.

Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery.
