Mrs. Claudette Renee Troupe-Sanders ""Brown Sugar"" - SAVANNAH - Claudette Renee Troupe-Sanders, 52, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 after a long illness. She was a native of Savannah, GA and a graduate of Alfred E. Beach High School. Mrs. Troupe-Sanders was a devoted member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church. She is survived by sons, Maurice and Manwel Troupe and daughter, Maria Troupe of Savannah, GA; grandchildren - Brian Brannen, Ayanna LaNae Troupe, Maurice Troupe, Jr., and Makayla Linger; god-child, Megan Anfield; Parents, Clarence and Claudine Powers of Savannah, GA; Siblings - sister, Blondia Anfield, and brothers, Anthony Walker, Sr.(Trish) of Brooklyn, NY; Clarence Powers, Jr. (Paulette); Christopher Powers; Calvin Powers (Opheia); and god-sister, Elaine Paige, all of Savannah, GA; step-children - Kahdisha Smith of Sylvania, GA, Tony Smith, Jr. of Sylvania, GA and Catherine Smith of Savannah, GA; as well as a host of family and friends.
The family would like to offer special thanks to Low Country Cancer Center, the Oncology floor and OR Staff of Memorial University Medical Center of Savannah.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Sanders will be Tuesday Feb. 16, 2010 at 11:00a.m. from Greater Owens Temple; Instate 9:00a.m. at the Church; Interment Magnolia Memorial Gardens.
