Arlo Jermaine Eason

Mr. Arlo Jermaine Eason, 41, made his transition Friday, September 25, 2009 at Candler General Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones.

A native of Manhattan, New York, his family relocated to Perquimans, North Carolina. He attended and graduated from the public schools of Perquimans County. Arlo was an Honorable Discharged Veterans of the United States Army having served during Desert Storm and Desert Shield.

He was a former employee of Suncoast Automotive in Okatie, SC, Hilton Head Automotive, Vaden Imports, Chatham Parkway Toyota and Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep of Hardeeville, SC. At the time of his death, he was employed by Lowe's in Pooler, GA. Mr. Eason attended Taylor AME Church and later Temple Of Glory Community Church.

Survivors: a loving and devoted wife, Gail B. Eason of Pooler, GA; daughter, Marvelle Eason of Hardeeville, SC; stepson, Darnell Anthony, Jr. of Pooler, GA; stepdaughter, Shawnette (Christopher) Wright of Hardeeville, SC; mother, Shirley Lightfoot Eason of Hertford, NC; three sisters: Bernadette Kee, Donna Eason, bothe of Durham, NC and Pamela (Donald) Stepney of Hertford, NC; brother, Tryon W. (Jocelyn) Eason of Nashville, TN; a devoted mother-in-law, Elizabeth Blount of Savannah, GA; brothers-in-law: Sherman (Ruthie) Woodard of Pooler, GA, Minister Clarence Lawrence (Dephenia) Blount of AL and Corey (Valencia) Blount of Pooler, GA; sister-in-law, Pauleette (Benjamin) Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, friends in GA, NC and SC.

Visitation: Friday, October 2, 2009 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home Chapel.

Funeral services: 11:00am Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Adams Funeral Services, Inc. Chapel, 510 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, GA. Public viewing: Friday, October 2, 2009 from 9:00am to 8:00pm and 9:00am until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Interment: Hillcrest Abbey West
on Dean Forest Road, Savannah, GA 31405.
