Mrs. Annie Lambert, 55, had her transition Monday, March 2, 2009 at Candler General Hospital, surrounded by her loving and devote family.

Mrs. Annie Lee Lamber, affectionately called, ""Annie Lee""
was the first child born to Alonzo Lee and Lottie Johnson. She was born on September 1, 1952 in Savannah, Georgia. Her parents, a brother and two sisters, preceded her in death.

Annie was education on the public schools of Savannah, Chatham County. She graduated from Savannah High School in 1970. She attended Savannah Technical College and received a certificate in Accounting. Annie joined Young Zion Baptich Church at an early age and served the Lord on the Usher Board.

Annie was employed first by the City of Savannah from 1975 to 1979. She then was employed by the Probation Department of Savannah from 1979 t0 1990. After a two year stint as a stay-at-home mother, she then worked for the Georgia Department of Corrections, beginning in 1992 and remained there until God called her home.

Those left to cherish her memories include: her husband of thirty years, Donald Lambert of Savannah, Georgia; four daughters: Taneshia (Eric) Jones and Melithia Singleton. both of Savannah, Georgia, Vera Lambert of New Jersey and Princess (Donald) Mencah of Fayetteville, NC; one son. Donald Lambert, Jr. of Savannah, GA; three sisters: Vivian Wright of Savannah, GA, Wanda Marie Frazier of Boston, MA and Nancy Johnson of Jacksonville, FL; a brother, James (Wilhelmina) Frazier of Jacksonville, FL; a special niece and nephew who she helped raise, Lottika (Keith) Gwynn and John Wright, Jr.; three sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; ten grands; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service: 1:00pm, Monday, March 9, 2009 at Kingdom Life Christian Fellowship, 328 Tibet Avenue, Savannah, GA 31406, Pastor Charles P. Roberson, Officiating/Eulogist. Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery, Savannah, GA.
